Strengthening Excellence Based on Sport Tourism, the Master's Program in Sport Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Holds Strategic Plan and Vision, Mission, Goals, and Targets Workshop


DENPASAR — The Master's Program in Sport Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), successfully held a workshop on the preparation of a Strategic Plan (Renstra) and Vision, Mission, Goals, and Targets (VMTS). The event, held at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, carried the theme "Strengthening the Strategic Direction and Excellence of the Master's Program in Sport Physiology through the Preparation of a Superior, Adaptive, Sustainable, and Sport Tourism-Based Renstra and VMTS."


The preparation and review of the Renstra and VMTS documents are aimed at ensuring the sustainability of study program development, improving the quality of governance, education, research, and community service in line with the policies of Udayana University and the Faculty of Medicine.


Welcome and Opening Remarks

The event began with remarks from the Coordinator of the Master's Program in Sport Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. I Dewa Ayu Inten Dwi Primayanti, M.Biomed, conveyed the importance of active participation from all elements of the academic community and stakeholders in formulating a realistic, measurable direction for study program development that meets the challenges of the times. The event was officially opened by the Head of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.


Material Session and Strategic Presentation

The workshop featured two keynote speakers:


Dr. dr. I Wayan Juli Sumadi, S.Ked, Sp.P.A, Subsp. M.S.(K) (Head of the UP3M Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University), delivered a presentation on "Policies and Strategic Direction of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University."


Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes., presented "Strategy for Developing the Master's Program in Sport Physiology and Developing a Strategic Plan Based on Program Excellence."


The session continued with a participatory discussion, SWOT analysis, performance achievement evaluation, and a discussion of the matrix linking the VMTS to the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Additional Performance Indicators (IKT) with the development team, lecturers, student representatives, alumni, and relevant stakeholders.


Expectations and Development Direction

This workshop aims to develop robust and adaptive drafts of the Strategic Plan and VMTS for the upcoming period. These documents will serve as the operational basis for the annual work program and strengthen the bargaining position of the Master's Program in Sport Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, as a center of excellence in the development of sport physiology science based on sport tourism.
